First East Coast Painting Released along with show Saturday and Sunday

There is much news from the studio as our genuine summer season gets under way.  In the Studio Terrill places the last brush stroke on first large East Coast PEI painting.

This work will be shown, along with recent painting sketches from Prince Edward Island and some of her larger west coast paintings, this coming Saturday July 9th 1-4 pm and Sunday July 10th 11 am – 4 pm at the Mayne Island Community Centre, 493 Felix Jack Rd.

Terrill will also be doing live painting to demonstrate her process of using reference materials to create large oil paintings.

It is a Canadian landscape art show that will take you, painting by contemporary painting, from the west to the east coasts of this fine lands.

Then there is the small problem of a hole in the home studio show after yesterday’s studio visitors became new collectors.

  1. Yes Laurie, it is exciting times with so many ideas just waiting for canvases! The next six to eight months are going to be busy studio days. Now, off to put gesso wood panels and put grounds on canvases. La, dee, da, day! – a happy painter’s hum.
