West to East Coast Canadian Landscapes in Paint solo exhibition

Canadian landscape painter Terrill Welch’s solo exhibition “West to East Coast Canadian Landscapes in Paint” opens June 30th 3-5 pm and closes on August 13th 5 pm 2017. If you are an art lover who is fond of landscapes that are alive with movement and a sense of place, this is an exhibition you will want to be sure to take in this summer.

This show is inspired by Canada 150 celebrations and Terrill’s recent travels from the southwest coast of Canada to paint on Prince Edward Island for seven weeks last spring. The contrast between the light and colour of these two coasts is most evident in this work. The paintings promise a sensory connection to land, sea and sky from one Canadian coast to the other.

With 24 works showing in a variety of sizes from very large to small painting sketches there is something for everyone to enjoy. Mayne Island, British Columbia is one of the Southern Gulf Islands and is easy to reach from either Vancouver or Victoria. Save the image below to your phone and you will have everything you need to know about the show. If you need help with figuring out how to get here, just ask and we can assist.
