New Work by Contemporary Canadian Artist Sells While The Paint Is Still Wet

Two new art works by independent contemporary Canadian artist Terrill Welch sell while the paint is still wet and long before the pieces could be formally listed for sale. The first painting received immediate online acquisition through email exchanges and went to private collectors of Canadian historic landscape paintings. This is the second work by the artist that has been selected by these collectors who in recent years have been adding more contemporary works to their collection.

In the time span of two weeks, five original Terrill Welch paintings were sold into private Canadian art collections in Toronto, Vancouver and Mayne Island. The other three paintings that sold can be viewed in the previous post “Latte Dollars Purchase Painting“. These recent sales are breaking a trend where most of the Artist’s work is purchased by art collectors in the United States and by other international collectors.
