Spring is budding on the Mayne Island trees. It is time for a studio update.
Fresh off the easel are two springtime paintings this past week and are yet to be released. They still need to dry and have final photographs taken. Still, here is an early viewing to put a bounce in your day.
Plum Blossoms Japanese Garden 20 x 16 inch oil on canvas
Suggestion of Daffodils 16 x 16 inch oil on canvas
There are also two larger works completed in January and February that are now available in my ArtWork Archive gallery.
Westerly Winter Winds Victoria BC 30 x 40 inch oil on canvas
Southern Gulf Islands Afternoon 48 x 36 inch oil on canvas
These two paintings were part of the 22 works exhibited as a solo pop-up ticketed event at The Groove on February 21st. It was a great evening with $200 being raised for the local Mayne Island food bank.
Now for paintings and painting sketches that have left the studio or have at least one foot out the door …
These two are waiting for a box to be sent off to a private collection in Prince George B.C…..
